    Inside 800 series

    Hello to all, first thread for me...

    I allways thought the inside of the 800series was purely made of matrix enforcement, but according to the following pictures there's foam all over the place. Wasn't the cabinet suposed to absorbe all kind of reflections?

    I've searched the web for some inside pictures of the newer 800 (d/s) series, but can't seem to find any. I'm sure you folks can show me some internal 802d, 804s, etc pictures...

    Also, the crossover in the nautilus 800series looks a bit cheap compared to the Mcap's showed in the brochure of the new 800's...

    Hope to buy myself some nice 804s speakers in the (near) future ;x(

      The woofer of a 803s from two years ago looks different to the current ones. The surrounding is thicker and looks matt-finished. The diaphragm is a little more elevated. I wonder what the reason is for such a cha...

      Sad information came from Classe. After a long consideration and due to large amount of unsatisfied customers, Classe pulling out SSP-800 from the market.

      According to information from inside (thanks Paul), the real reason for such decision is fact that SSP-800 has serious bug inside...
