    from DM-22 to 801-II

    I have owned DM-22 since 1982. I just purchased a pair of 801 series II that have been upgraded to series III. I will be picking these up this week, needless to say I am very excited. Can someone tell me what is involved in upgrading from II to III?

      Hello, all. I have "inherited" a pair of somewhat cosmetically-challenged 801 Series 80 speakers from around 1982 or so. These were originally a matched-pair though time has done some damage to the relationship.
      Does anyone have, or know a good source for, parts for these things?...

      I have been chatting to a B&W rep - about proper matching for my 801 Series 2 in a HT setup. I currently have them in stereo only on a Jeff Rowland Model 1.

      To move them over to HT, B&W suggests the Classe SSP-600, the B&W HTM2 and matched rears - and 3 or 5 more amplifier...

      Hi

      Have any of you ever tried to "upgrade" the 801 Series 80? I am thinking tweaks to the cross over, better cables internally, chaning the tweeters to never metal dome type's - and if so does it work with the existing crossover? -or maybe even changing it from a closed box...
