    B&W 700 HT - Which SP/Amp - Please help

    Hello,

    I am planning to upgrade from two-channel stereo to a 'complete' HT.
    I now have B&W 703 for stereo and I wish to add B&W 705 (rear L&R) and the HTM-7 as center speaker.
    Subwoofer is an option, I was considering the ASW700.
    I will use this setup 60% for listening stereo and 40% as HT (but this can increase).
    I have a flat plasma screen which doesn't support HD.
    The room is medium-sized.

    My question...
    Which SP/Amp should you 'more experienced' people chose to drive the HT.
    My local store advised me the Primare SPA21. I heard also good reviews from Denon....

    As HT is new for me, I hope that you guys will help me/advice me in this matter....Thanks in advance

      Do you have a budget? There are many great options out there.

          My budget is $ 2.000 for the SP/Amp.
          I will have it for a long time, so I am willing to spent a bit more if necessary...

              you should look into sherwood newcastle. The P965 is $1000. I've not used their amp, but I used to have the P965. It is a good pre, and now has room EQ. IMO, this pre is better than anything rotel offers.
