A Guy who takes his B&W's and Classe Seriously

I posted a foto of 2 800D's and a pile of Classe Components, new in the box. Well the fellow who was the owner wrote me and we have been exchanging some emails and he is indeed as passionate as anyone here and MORE !

I have posted his website, which is just dedicated to the things he loves which includes B&W and Classe and HIFI.

The fotos are beautifully done and worth the visit. It is in French but easy to navigate and I am sure you will enjoy it.

Impressive. I wonder how those B&W Custom Theatre 800 series sound. His music system looks incredible. I guess he switches between Marantz, Primare, and Classe whenever he feels like it. I wish I were that lucky. Does anyone know which brand those tube amps in his music system is?

It's nice that he lets his young son handle the remote.
          What a great picture.

B&W 800's Better with Ayre or Classe'?
              by RebelMan
There has been some personal interest in my recent visit with Ayre and Classe' that I thought I would share with the people here. It is a bit lengthy but I hope you find it a useful read just the same.

              Purpose:

You are probably wondering why I would even bother to demo...

Second Official Review of the Classe SSP-800 Controller
              by Oddiophile
              Hi all,

I have just purchased the pdf file of Robert Harley’s review of the Classe SSP-800 in the August issue (#194) of The Absolute Sound. This review is significant because Robert Harley is one of the most respected audio reviewers out there. Although I think it would be unethical...

Classe will charge $25,000 for their new HT pre/pro the SSP-900
              by Jeff
I love my B&W Nautilus 802’s and HTM1 center. I find myself thoroughly engrossed with my HT experience. It was my hope, over the next year, to invest in a world class, no holds bar HT pre/pro.

I had heard Classe is planning to release a new HT pre/pro. This was pretty exciting....

              Stereophile reviews Classe CA-3200
              by sikoniko
I thought it might be interesting to start a thread on Kal's review of the CA-3200.

I finally got to read the article. I'm glad to see that he seemed to rate it higher than the bel canto, and only slightly lower than the pass labs, which costs >$4k more. I can't help but wonder how...
