B&W Mini Theatres for Home Cinema?

Does anybody have any experience of using these? I'd be looking at the MT-30 package which is basically 5 of the MT satellites plus the PV1 subwoofer. I don't have space for 5 full size speakers (plus the need to position speakers differently for AV and stereo makes setup difficult) so I want to get the best possible sub/sat package for home cinema use only. These will be driven by my Rotel RSX-1056 at present (thinking of possibly adding a Rotel RMB-1077 at a later date).

I don't have them myself, but was present when a friend listened to them at the Home Theater Store. I was utterly impressed that so much powerful sound could come from such small speakers.

I can see now why What Hi*Fi was so impressed with them!

they are pretty good for there size when i had a listen. What about doing FPM 2s all the way around. Powered by the RMB 1077 and pair with a PV1 that could sound great for a small package!

FPM 2s are a little more expensive than I was planning on spending (about twice the price per speaker than M1s). For movies would there be that much difference?

Auto-Eq – Boon or bane to home theater?
          by TommyV
Not sure if this has been posted but I got this in my email box. I thought it was an interesting read.

"At Rotel, we have been asked many times why our audio/video receivers don’t feature an Auto-Eq set up. The short answer is that while these devices do change the sonic characteristics,...

          B&W PV1, to be replaced ?
          by alebonau
I'm noticing the B&W PV1 disappearing off retailers websites, a few years old now too. Wondering does anyone know if this model subwoofer is going to be replaced with a new model ?

would think it an ideal match for the new pm1 standmount.

if going to be replaced be...

What's up with Blockbuster @ Home?
          by Chris D
I just got this E-mail from Dish Network:

Grrrrr... I'm going to be hard pressed now to keep my Blockbuster @ Home subscription. I realize that most of you guys don't still do stuff like this, much less specifically Blockbuster @ Home, (and most of you no longer...

What would you buy among these for your home cinema?
          by Ovation
I'm contemplating a refresher of some sort for my home cinema. Nothing NEEDS to be upgraded, but it's always nice to get new things every once in a while. I'm not sure I'll actually go through with it, but I've been mulling it over anyway:

Option 1: a new subwoofer. My current subwoofer...

          B&W M1 and PV1 setup..reviews?
          by parrys
Guys, I am looking at some reviews from you experts. Just wondering if I make 5.1 package of M1's and PV1. Is that a good enough option?

How do M1's sound? are they good enough for a HT setup?
