BIG prob... 602 positioning for the rear...

Guys, as for my last thread which all of you who replied said yes about 602 for my rears... please help me out.

I have this big problem now about how to position it.

Problem 1: i sit almost to the back wall.
Problem 2: there is a door at my left about 7ft high.
Problem 3: my 50inches A/V rack is at my right
Problem 4: my room as mentioned b4 is approx. 8.5 ft. in width

: i cant put them on stands because of prob. 3 and again prob. 4
: i cant hang them specifically as per recommendations in surround height
    becase of prob. 2

Q: can i place them way above 6ft from the floor to avoid people comming in to accidentally bump the speakers?
And if i do so, will i still have the full potential of sound surrounding me and that height?

    thanks.

      You have problems.

If that was the case, the easiest would have been wall mounting 600's.
Maybe if you post pics, someone can could help.

        what do you mean?

        Pics of my room?

BTW: fife, how about my question?
do you think it advisable to place it above 6ft and still get the right surround ambiance?

If you could angle them toward the listening position, you might be able to negate any effets of having them so high.

Pics of your room would help.

Why is changing your seating position *not* a possibility?

if ever i change my seating position, i will be to close to the TV. the room is only abt 12ft in length that means i will be seating approx. 6-7 ft from the TV. 1 feet is used as an area at my back.

Definitely if you an snap a few pictures or even make up a diagram that would really help a lot!

Sorry guys, but i dont have access to Powerpoint here in my work and to the main server to upload the pics. if ever i'll just draw it through words hoping it would help.

                  1: its a 12 x 8 x 10 (LxWxH)ft room
2: front speakers, TV, and sub are at the first 3ft area from the front wall
                  3: i have a 3ft couch located 1ft from the back wall
( so only 2.5ft space at each side of the couch and abt 5ft of space from the couch and speakers )
                  4: i have a 2 x 1.5 x 4 ft A/V rack at my right
5: and a 7 ft door at my left.

                  Hoe this helps.
