I've never used that speaker, or amplifier, but I suspect it will work fine.
HK usually makes pretty decent amps.
Judging from the specs you could do both better and worse. Should be fine though, especially if the price is right ;-)

Edit: Have you done a google search for reviews on the amp?

        actually yes dknightd,

and nothing comes up... the price for this one is only $300 brand new. do you think i should go with it? or better go with a second hand integrated from a more reputable name, say, krell? also sells about $300 though its an old model. but has more power based from specs. 100W x 2.

I'm reluctant to tell people what they should buy. But if is was me I'd probably jump on the krell at $300.

              Crossover & Ohms
              by Stockinv
As a newbie I've seen the terms "crossover" and "ohms" when discussing stereo and/or home theatre. With regard to amps, I know it's ideal to have watts doubling as ohms half, i.e. 200 watts at 8 ohms, 400 watts at 4 ohms, etc. Could someone explain these two concepts? Specifically,...

Thanks for all the Bose bashing you provided. With regard to speakers and assuming I win the battle for Denon 2805 which is 7X100 and has ratings for 6 and 8 Ohms (100watts). If I understand right (my conservative thinking) I need to get speakers that support at least 100 watts right? If they are...
