          Dear RH Customs,

Their prices are killing on their web site, here in this part of the world... those prices are almost double., for example I get here 805S in the price of 804S there., inspite of no sales tax... I wonder why is this...

Those prices are MSRP in the US.

RH Customs, have you seen the prices on the Home Theater Store for the Custom Theater range? I don't think they sell speakers that are MORE expensive, yet they look very "industrial". I wonder why?

Those speakers are built for in-wall custom installations (ie, true movie theater style). So if you are building a custom theater and want your speakers built into the walls to be invisible and still have the same sound as the 800 series. There ya go.

They aren't made to sit out and be admired.

That price of $2000 is for a single speaker, a pair would be $4000. Dealers are not allowed to sell B&W (and many other high end brands for that matter) through the internet so if you are located outside the US you will have to get them whatever country you are in. I guess you could come to the US, buy them and then ship them back to your home country but that could get more expensive than buying locally.

As for sales tax in the US it varies by state. I live in CT where its 6%. If I had to guess I bet the average is around 7% or 8%

Where I live the sales tax in 8.25%, but if you are able to get deal on the initial purchase it helps.

I bought my B&W's in MA when they were having a tax free weekend. That plus the discount I got saved me a lot of money, about 21%.

805S's retail for $2500 a pair. If you want the matching stands they retail for $600 (a lot for stand if you ask me).

take note these speakers use active crossovers and the subs are daisy chained off of the l/r speakers.
