    Partners for the XT4's

Hello all and pleased to join!

A question that I wanted to ask is that I have just upgraded my old Mission M74's to B & W XT4's and am planning to add the XTC when the credit card gets back to normal.

I am wondering if I could get away with having 2 of the sat speakers from the MT20/30 range for the rears? That being instead of the XT surrounds?

I listen much more to music than films (although I do enjoy the full AV experience when the mood takes me) but would like to try and get away from the surrounds on stands due to space and usuage.

Do you think that this would work? Both in terms of compatibilty and getting just 2 speakers from B & W?

Thanks in advance for any opinions on this and pleased to join!

If you want to get away from stands you can alos look at the B&W FPM Series. I would suggest the FPM 2s or FPM4s.

      B&W FPM 6s vs XT4s

I currently have a full FPM set up with B&W PV1 sub powered by a rotel rsx 1067. I have to admit its a sweet sound system. As many of you know regardless of how good your system sounds, and with out even hearing something better you always think of ways to improve.

      B&W FPM Series

Well I guess I going to have to head something up on these speakers. The lack of reviews, and information on these speakers is amazing especially when they are such good speakers. I did a search for "FPM" on this site and many other and came up with almost nothing (absolutely nothing on this...

Just got FPM 4s for surounds

No one ever posts about the FPM series, so thought I would in case someone is considering them or is curious. I am using FPMs for a full HT setup and went from 601 S3 to get there.

I was using FPM 6s for my mains, a FPM 4 for the centre and had two 601s left from my last set up I was...

      Floor stand for FPM-2
      by Wedlock
      Hello,

Apparantly within the FPM-range of B&W, there is no such thing as a floor stand for the FPM-2. B&W offers floor stands for the other (larger) models, but if I'd use those for the FPM-2, it would mean a piece of the stand would remain visible which is not really that nice....

      XT4s in DA House

Well I guess I finally can call myself an official member here. I unpacked my new XT4s this afternoon. I purchased them for my study library. All the new built in furniture made it impossible to fit my beloved Klipsch Chorus II in the room so it was time for something that could make a substantial...
