Which color do you like best for B&W 800 series.

    Vancouver Was there ever a dark blue used for the signature series?
    They did show a blue midrange (in lieu of the yellow) in one of their speakers at one of those shows... looked pretty cool.

        No seriously, I've been very anxious to try the 600 vs 800 series back-to-back. More specifically the the 683 and 804S since they're similar size/design/driver arrangement to get the most fair comparison of the quality of the 600 to the 800 series. I don't think it...

        800 Series - Cherry vs Rosenut - Is one more porous than the other?

        My Nautilus 805's were the cherry wood color.
        My set of 804S are rosenut.

        One thing I noticed is that the wood does not have the same texture.
        The cherry wood of the 805 was silky smooth to touch. I never added any liquids and oils. Always cleaned it with just a microfiber...

        Well the problems aren't with the speakers per say....

        I have a set of red cherry N803s and HTM1 sitting here.... and I REALLY Like that color Especially in my room.

        However I already have light cherry N802s, light cherry htm1, and am picking up a light cherry asw 855......

        How does everyone feel about the finish options of the 800 series? Rosenut is gorgeous but quite difficult to match. Cherry is nice, but if you have dark wood or walnut furniture (as many do), it clashes. Personally, I love the color of walnut and wish the new 800 series came in a walnut veneer....
