Yesterday my local dealer in the Neatherlands contacted me to confirm me that he had contact with B&W Neatherland and the Sub ASW875 is not going in production.This means that the ASW855 is the top of the serie unless someone can tell me that they would probably release another model

Dealers (inlcuding mine) have started to recieve shipments of the ASW855 sub and B&Ws web-site has been updated to delete the previously announced ASW865 and ASW875 subs... Interesting - as spec-wise the ASW855 seems awefully like the proposed ASW865...

by joe_sI've been told the ASW875's are not yet shipping. I'm pretty close to finalizing the purchase of a 5.1 system with 802D's as the front left and right speakers, and am leaning toward HTM1D for the center. I will probably go with McIntosh MC501's for the front three speakers.

1. ASW850 $2,500 (S/hand)
2. Velodyne DD18 $4,500 (S/hand)
3. ASW855 $5,200 (New)
The ASW850 is the cheapest option, is there much difference between that and the ASW855? Any owners of both...-
