    DS6's as Front Speakers

Has anyone used or heard the DS6's as the fronts, rears, and sides in a 7.1 system (Center will probably be the LCR60)? They will probably be powered by a Denon 3806 or 4306 (not the 4806). Budget will be around $3000.00.

    Thanks,

    -Lou

    Lou,

The DS6 is not realy intended to be used as a front - speaker... If you did use it, make sure you leave it in direct mode, not bi-pole, otherwise the sound will be too difuse.. However, that asside they would work - if you have a good subwoofer and never play in pure stereo (ie with the subwoffer off).
