Sorry. My bad. I thought you were asking about used prices. New list the 805 (old version) listed for $1,999 US, I believe. Demos should sell for betwen 10 percent and 20 percent of list.Comment

My mistake for not clarifying, I still find it a big pricey for 'old' demo 805s.
And yes, i'm fully aware of the excessive price of the 805 stands. Dealer won't sell speakers by themselves either.Comment

I would get the stands and fill them up with buckshot to stabilize the speaker to get the most out of them. Its what I did and I was happy with it. Put one bag of buckshot (25lbs) in each stand.Comment
