New to the forum.
Aww well, I'm really impressed with what I saw here. It has inspired me to sign in here.
Recently I bought set of B&W speakers and I must say it was a long search and hours and hours of demos... but finally B&W's won (even with more expensive options)
Hopefully by end of this week I'll clean up my setup so I'll be able to take some pictures for this thread.

Ok, here is my quick photo (while watching movie with flash so sorry for quality)... I don't want to make detailed snaps until I'll finish setting all up. I moved to India only few months ago, and trust me it's not easy to aquire those kind of things. For everything there is a "guy" and there is no search engine to find him ;]. Looks awesome!!!!! How's the center and the L/Rs working as far as matching together. I'm sure there's a timbre mismatch as to be expected with the two different types of speakers....but sometimes they are close enough it's not worth getting the center of the same speaker line.
Anyways... I don't think there's much "cleaning up" that's needed. It all looks good to me!!Digital Audio makes me Happy.

As for cleaning up - I like minimalistic view, no cables visible, everything symetric, etc... so there is much to do. Also there is no picture of back as there is a mess ;]
Edit: Just to be clear - it's not a perfect match but it's also not a mismatch. It's that voices sounds so good on this center that HTM61 could not get even close(at least at demo in the shop).AudioSource/DisplayCabling/PowerAV: Onkyo TX-NR818 + BT

800 and 802 hardware boxes - The Grey box is the 800 and the 2 black boxes are the 802's (1 for the spikes and the other for the mid range grill). I forgot to include the 800 grill box in this shot, see below.
800 mid range grill boxes. Interesting that the boxes are more plane than the 802 boxes

Nope, not massively different, you can tell the 802's and 800's are cut from the same cloth, no doubt about it. The 800's project a bigger sense of size. By looks you could assume they would but if you look at the specs between them and the 802's they are ridiculously close and have the same sensitivity. The dual 10's do handle the bass better, it's just more noticeable, has a bit more authority. As a test, since I have my 802's crossed over at 50Hz and my 800's at 40Hz, I moved the 800's up to 50Hz and the notable difference was still present. Same with lowering the 802's to 40Hz, again the 800's just had a better handle on the low end. It's not huge like OMG these things are like subwoofers but most definitely there, obviously more apparent on more bass heavy audio so it is actually something I could see people not picking up on in an audition when comparing to the 802's. The mids are warmer and more open but again it's source dependant and could easily be missed in a rushed audition between them and the 802's.
So far just based on my limited time with them I can most certainly see why people are so split on these, with some saying they are indeed better then the 802's and others saying there is no difference.B&W 800 Diamonds (L/R), HTM2 Diamond (C), 802 Diamonds (SL/SR), Paradigm Signature Sub 25 (LFE), Reference Servo 15a x 2 (Stereo subs), Lexicon MC-12Bv5EQ SSP, Bryston 28B-SST2x 2, 7B-SST2x2, 4B-SST C Series, BDP-2, Oppo UDP-205, Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-150FD, Furman SPR-20i, IT-Reference, Eastlink Maestro PVR, Xbox One & 360, PS3, Siltech Golden Ridge II, Ruby Hill IIx2, 330ix2, Kimber Kable PK10 Gold, Tonic, PBJ, Cadence, HD19e, HD19, OPT-1, HDSW 4x1, Ixos 6003, Harmony 1000- Bottom

No, definitely the same color/finish however the 800's do seem to be a bit more glossy and smooth to the touch. I don't know why that one shot in particular shows the 802 as practically orange but it's definitely just something with the light and flash.B&W 800 Diamonds (L/R), HTM2 Diamond (C), 802 Diamonds (SL/SR), Paradigm Signature Sub 25 (LFE), Reference Servo 15a x 2 (Stereo subs), Lexicon MC-12Bv5EQ SSP, Bryston 28B-SST2x 2, 7B-SST2x2, 4B-SST C Series, BDP-2, Oppo UDP-205, Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-150FD, Furman SPR-20i, IT-Reference, Eastlink Maestro PVR, Xbox One & 360, PS3, Siltech Golden Ridge II, Ruby Hill IIx2, 330ix2, Kimber Kable PK10 Gold, Tonic, PBJ, Cadence, HD19e, HD19, OPT-1, HDSW 4x1, Ixos 6003, Harmony 1000- Bottom

I finally had some real quality time with the 800's today and I am very impressed. These things have some serious, serious bass capabilities when running full range and it's no wonder owners report not needing a subwoofer if using in a non home theater environment. I know 802 owners even run stereo without a sub and I can attest to them having very solid and tight bass but the 800's are definitely a step up. I know what the specs say and the 800's and 802's have ridiculously close numbers on paper but this is a phenomenon where you need to use your ears and forget about the specs because depending on the song you could easily be fooled into thinking a sub, or stereo subs were in the system. My 800's are in the exact same position that my 802's were and there is no mistaking the difference.
Moving onto the mids I find them to be very smooth, warm and fluid. they obviously posses the accuracy of the 802's but deliver it with a warmer presentation. I had reported after listening to the Focal Alto Utopia a few weeks back how warm and fluid the mids were compared to the 802's, the 800's are giving what I heard from the Alto's.
I'm practically equally as impressed with the surround experience the 800's and 802's give. As reported earlier the soundstage and sense of integration is just amazing. This obviously could have been achieved by buying another pair of 802's, no doubt about it so with me having had no intention of selling the 802's anyways it's a win win in the end.
So what about the HTM2 smile.gif It still holds it's own in the setup especially when the center is strictly dialog but with the 800's and 802's working in harmony with music it does stand out more then it did when my surrounds were Paradigm Studio 100's probably because the HTM2 is a better speaker in the mids and highs with the low end advantage going to the 100's.B&W 800 Diamonds (L/R), HTM2 Diamond (C), 802 Diamonds (SL/SR), Paradigm Signature Sub 25 (LFE), Reference Servo 15a x 2 (Stereo subs), Lexicon MC-12Bv5EQ SSP, Bryston 28B-SST2x 2, 7B-SST2x2, 4B-SST C Series, BDP-2, Oppo UDP-205, Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-150FD, Furman SPR-20i, IT-Reference, Eastlink Maestro PVR, Xbox One & 360, PS3, Siltech Golden Ridge II, Ruby Hill IIx2, 330ix2, Kimber Kable PK10 Gold, Tonic, PBJ, Cadence, HD19e, HD19, OPT-1, HDSW 4x1, Ixos 6003, Harmony 1000- Bottom

Rod I saw that you had 3 good SW in your room, how you can compare this stereo SW with the bass of the 800? I listened my 804D in full band operation and It was better in accuracy and definition in bass instead my SVS sealed SW.
BTW it's possible a pic with the all front?
This definitely doesn't change my mind that for home theater a sub is still a must just due to the fact movies can have very, very low frequencies which last for many seconds in duration and can repeat many times during a movie. I would actually be concerned of damaging the 800's if I were to experiment letting them run full range for a movie and re-route LFE signals to them.
I can't get a straight on picture of all of the front speakers, my camera lens can't extend wide enough. If aiming dead center at the center the camera can't pick up either 800. The 800's are a little shy of 9 feet apart from tweeter to tweeter.B&W 800 Diamonds (L/R), HTM2 Diamond (C), 802 Diamonds (SL/SR), Paradigm Signature Sub 25 (LFE), Reference Servo 15a x 2 (Stereo subs), Lexicon MC-12Bv5EQ SSP, Bryston 28B-SST2x 2, 7B-SST2x2, 4B-SST C Series, BDP-2, Oppo UDP-205, Pioneer Elite Kuro PRO-150FD, Furman SPR-20i, IT-Reference, Eastlink Maestro PVR, Xbox One & 360, PS3, Siltech Golden Ridge II, Ruby Hill IIx2, 330ix2, Kimber Kable PK10 Gold, Tonic, PBJ, Cadence, HD19e, HD19, OPT-1, HDSW 4x1, Ixos 6003, Harmony 1000- Bottom

The Servo 15's go deeper, there is no question there. The Sub 25 doesn't really factor in because it is a dedicated LFE sub. I was shocked how well the 800's do in comparison to the twin Servo's. The Servo's can definitely shake the room more than the 800's but as for accuracy it's a toss up really. I suspect the Servo's would cope better with sustained low frequency signals but with quick hits in and around 30-40Hz and higher, at this point, as I'm still in the early days it could go either way.

ohh I see, I guess too always the bass drivers in the 800 will be more accurate for music them a SW. I'm agree with you for movie the sw is a must.Leo,

Hi guys I just get the appropriate stands for my 805Di (It was the last money put in surround duty) because I need to satisfy the WAF (jajaja She is more Happy than me with this change) and I finally get out the right surround speaker from the closet to end the many jokes with it, the sound in multichannel option have improved a lot; I bought a new SW too. anyway I'm posting the last pics than I took from my HT.
I Added the new stereo combo!Last edited by leo2498; 21 September 2013, 19:39 Saturday.Leo,

Here are a couple of updated pictures of the system. I added an HTM2 and a salamander design synergy TV stand. I also mounted the TV on the wall. I am very very happy with the results. I still can’t believe how big of a difference the HTM2 made. I am also debating on pushing the left speaker a little bit further out to the left. No walls on the right. Speakers are just under 8 ft. apart now. With how relatively big the center is, I am starting to think that 8ft apart is not far enough.
