Hi All
Ages since I was doing speaker DIY but a requirement for a new sound system was created when I purchased an intel NUC for a HTPC.
What with the only speakers being those in the TV I saw the need to improve on this situation.
I had a left over Modula MT minus the xover...

Modula MT XE build
Here's my version of the Modula MT XE. After doing the Troels Jenzen project for my brother, I wanted something new for me. I have a longer term project in mind but it will likely take over a year to complete so I wanted something sooner...what better project than the MT XE considering I already have...- Bottom

Unusual approach to 2.1 bedroom system?
My 16-yo son is due for an upgrade from the awful $20 computer speakers in his bedroom. And this is a good excuse for me to build more speakers and dabble in computer audio.
It turns out I have a bunch of RS180 woofers and RS28A tweeters - I considered Modula MTMs, but MTs fit better...- Bottom

Help searching for a post
I'm looking for an the MT design that John Marsh did where he used the 6-1/2" MCM waveguide and HDS tweeter with the flange kept on. Does anyone have the link to it? I could not find it. I am interested in the method that he used to attach the tweeter.
Thanks,

My Modula MT build..with a few Q's
I started my modula mt's this weekend. I went with the pe box design but I think I messed up on the depth. The depth of mine are 11-1/4" so with the front baffle they will be 12". I think what I should have done was to make the box depth 12" for a total of 12-3/4".
Is...- Bottom

Building a curved sided Modula MT
I'm sure that I know the answer, but I think it's worth asking anyway. Should I add another shelf brace to the inside of the enclosure?
My dilemma is that I am dangerously low on internal volume. Right now I am exactly at the necessary volume for the speaker. From the base to the brace...- Bottom

Modula MT
I just got back from vacation and I've decided to build some speakers sometime this month. I've got $250 to build a pair of speakers (boxes/finish included), but I'm not sure of what to build yet. They will mainly be used for music listening because my Athena Point 5s that I have right now aren't...Last edited by derekbannatyne; 05 July 2006, 20:24 Wednesday.- Bottom

I need some pretty basic crossover help (Modula MT)
I’m just about ready to tackle the Modula MT’s. My first real speaker project. The part that has me most concerned is the crossover. I’m looking at the circuit diagram as well a people’s photos. There are a few things I don’t understand (OK, many things). Using those white plastic Radio Shack...- Bottom
