As I have no audio equipment at all and want to build myself homestudio (little one - none professionnal) I am looking for an amp.
The seput would be my computer using an "M-Audio Audiophile 2496" sound card (http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_c...2496-main.html), an amp and some speakers.
I found a Sony STR-DE945 receiver for $190 (USD).
Do you recommend it for music. Does the stereo rendering is good ?
The 5 channels is still interresting for me, as I have a 27" TV and a DVD player in my living room, but this is not the first purpose of my "quest".
For sure I am going to try it and make my own opinion, but it would be great to hear from you alls.
