Yep, definitely sad to hear he's gone. He will definitely be missed by millions for all of his novels, movie, and games!Digital Audio makes me Happy.

He's been one of my favorite authors, even way back 30 years ago when I was in elementary school and starting to read full-length novels. Way before he became over-popular.
I'll always remember sitting in a movie theater to watch some movie, and a movie preview started. I hadn't heard any news or anything, but somehow within the first SECOND of the trailer starting, I knew it was for "Red October". Awesome. For quite a while, "Red Storm Rising" was my favorite novel.
And I'll always remember reading "Debt of Honor". I got to the end of the book, thinking "hey, that was a pretty darn good book!" And then in the last 2 pages or something, all of a sudden, Clancy totally turned the world upside down, leaving me with :wtf: I had to go back and read it again once or twice. Kind of like when you get to the end of "The Usual Suspects".

This may be a good discussion. The topic is popular books that have been made into movies. By and large, my personal opinion is that movie renditions of good books fall far short for a few reasons. First, I think due to the media of print, books allow for a much more thorough immersion of the reader... -
Sean Levert, 39, son of O'Jays lead singer Eddie Levert and brother of Gerald who died a couple years ago at age 40 has also passed away. He was in jail serving a sentence for unpaid child support. I just finished reading the review at Tom's Hardware Guide. He takes a good look at the Xbox in a technical way. Though not as detailed technically as AnandTech, Tom does look at the Xbox indepth in a way that covers what Anandtech may not have.
It's a good read.......
