    Stereo outdoor pillows??!!

    Hey all,

I bought this speaker pillow (yes...who would have thought that this kinda' thing could exist!!) and I must say, it's pretty neat!!. Basically, it's a battery operated speaker pillow that you connect your audio device to via it's 3.5mm audio jack on the side and it plays your music via the speakers on each end of the pillow!. Bass is virtually non existent but all in all, it kinda' frees you from headphones and it actually sounds pretty decent!. Stereo reproduction is quite decent due to the fact that the speakers are right underneath your ears!!.

I'm going to love this pillow this summer !! :T

Makes me think of "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles":

    ... THOSE AREN'T PILLOWS!!!!!!!!

(ah... ahem... how 'bout them Bears? ...)

Interesting, though. Do you have to sleep on your back (or alternatively, I guess, face down) to get the stereo effect?

Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

It's really designed for use on patio chairs outside. With the chair reclined and your head resting on the speaker pillow. Speakers are located on the sides of the pillow. Uses 2 AA batteries!!.

Ps....I loved that Movie !! I laughed so hard when Candy tries to explain how the burnt out car is roadworthy to the officer!!. Hilarious!!.

I have an RSX-1056. Love it. Right now I'm just doing 2.1 in my main room, have the rear channels hooked up to my outdoor speakers, and only turn them on in 5Ch stereo mode when I want music in my back yard.

I plan on installing some in ceiling rear speakers to give me 4.1, and eventually...

        Hi All,

I'm a long time lurker, very much into quality music reproduction and HT, and was once a DIY speaker builder (in high school!). My reason for this post is the tremendous knowledge base (or is that bass ) found here and that no commercially available product appears to fit the...

Hello. I installed my Polk Audio Atrium 45 Outdoor speakers over the weekend. They sound great. My question pertains to their ( or any other outdoor speaker) weatherproof-ness.

The installation instructions suggest that they still have some sort of protection if possible. Under...

I am looking to build a pair of speakers for outdoor listening. We recently had a party at our house and I brought out the Paul Carmody designed Tarkus speakers that I built a few years ago. They sounded great and I got a lot of compliments on them. Alas, I need to get them back inside before the...

        Any thoughts on this?
I have to place another order for my wwmt's (using the link above )
And for the wwmts/plus matching center, I am looking at about 3 pounds of it. Maybe the 5 lb bag.
I don't want to cheap out, because I have not yet on this project - I'll have about $1600...
