    Comcast acquiring Disney

    I've heard rumors that Comcast is trying to acquire Disney for 66 Billion Dollars.

    Anyone else heard anything about this acquistion?

      Yeah, read that on cnn yesterday. They may or may not get it done.

      Offered 9% above stock value, not exactly a great offer. Investment experts said make it 30% and they'd likely go for it.

          Hmmm, Disney stock is up 14% with the announcement and that puts it above the value of Comcast's offer. I wonder if they'll sweeten things and add a few more billion to the tender? Kaching!

              This is very much the buzz topic here at work (Disney). There were even company-wide emails sent out to "calm" any excitement about it. Haven't heard anything beyond what you can read on CNN though.
