I was able to post...but, really, what's the point? DT is dying.

Stay here and help build HT Guide to what DT once was.

Come on, guys DT is worth keeping alive. No reason we can't post both sites.

Why? The owners certainly don't care to keep DT up. This is a perfectly suitable substitute.

DT is just a URL -and a dying one at that. You guys are what matters.

It does make a difference when you have owners that care about a place. Keeping DT going is a noble thought. But I really think it's day has come and gone. To bad, but true. The beat goes on...

I have been unable to post there since about last May. I go there and read the posts every couple of days. I think the membership was let down by the lack of any effort to fix the problems. I would probably continue to post if I could, but maybe I'll take off my shoes and put my feet up here instead. 8)

Problems saving username and password to your computer?
              by Lex
This should work when you can't seem to get it to work:

              PART 1:
UNCHECKING log me in automatically and
UNCHECKING SAVE USERNAME and PW on this computer.
Checking Delete all your cookies for HTGuide through your profile

              That's 3 check boxes. Uncheck...

              Password Protected Folders
              by aud19
Any input on how to do that from our resident computer experts? It seems Windows doesn't allow for that since I think before XP but really, there has to be some way to require a password for access to sensitive folders on a shared drive. Right?

              Any help.

Any chance of getting my original username of Steve working? I lost my password and my email has changed, so I can't retrieve it.

RSP-1068 - How to clear user password
              by BilGe
              Hello everyone -

My old RSP-1068 took a power surge that knocked out some of the DACs (see previous thread on this topic). Rather than pay many hundreds plus downtime for repair, I bought a replacement for $200 on eBay. The replacement looks good and everything works ...

Username rules, ALL members must read
              by Lexman
Guys, I have contemplated over the last week or two, how to handle usernames that honestly, don't make much sense, and aren't easy for people to call them by when responding to their posts.

My decision is this, it is now REQUIRED that either one of the two conditions exist with your username:...
