Does your HT get less use this time of year ?

I find that from mid December up to New Years, things get so hectic that I find myself using the HT maybe only once or twice a week, and less than that during the Christmas Eve to New Years eve period. How about you ?

Possibly MORE use for the HT this time of year -- after all, we wouldn't want want to listen to those inspirational Xmas albums just in the car (Such as "Alvin and the Chimpunks Sing Traditional Christmas Songs"). :>) There are a lot of new discs coming out this time of year and since my computer is in the HT room, anyway, music is on "all the time", except when I 'm doing serious work like writing this note, :>) in addition to sharing holiday movies with friends and family. Besides, its COLD outside. :>)

It's stinkin' 75 F here. How Christmasy. I know it probably sounds good to you snowbound types, but I hate it.

My HT is going to get a lot of use as when the family comes over we will watch movies. OK probably not on Xmas eve, but all the other days.

Actually, more when I am not so busy I can't sit down. Weather sucks, cold, rain, what else you gonna do besides work? LOL.

So, shopping aside, a few last orders to stuff in stockings someplace (you know, the Santa Catman thing), you will find me in my HT! :-)

              Hi Guys,

During the winter time especially towards Christmas we do use our HT more than other times, simply because, well it's cold otter der!!

We entertain alot so down to the HT everyone goes.

Same here! In the summer I am working til dark most days and have so much going on that I find myself not getting much TV time.

The holidays, while yeah we do a little shopping, Christmas dinners and gatherings, etc., we still have plenty of time to watch TV. Mainly because I hate cold weather and am very fragile to less than 60 degree weather.

I wouldn't mind having a colder week every 3 months or so just to give us a break during the year, but overall, I like it hot! :hb

Cinemeek gets more use this time of year. Like Burke 'n Clive, when friends/family come in, people always migrate to the kitchen, the den and the theater room, so something is almost always showing.

Thanks George. It's the best I've been able to come up with so far.

I've been watching a lot the last week or so. With all the goings on at work it's a great way to unwind.

I'm not watching as many movies lately but it has to do with several reason. Lack of time, family with a baby staying at the house are probably the main causes. But I enjoy it when I can.

                          Happy Holidays.
