Toshiba did announce at CES that they were shipping a new 1080p HD DVD player called the HD A20. It's retail price is $599.00. Here's another link that talks about it.

I believe this one is only available through Walmart. I know wall mart did have a Rabaged Toshida A1.

Eventually, I will end up with a Toshiba 1080P DVD player.
