    Sony DVD/CD/SACD player remote controlling Rotel RX 1052 Stereo Receiver

    I recently purchesed the Sony DVD/CD/SACD player model DVPNS775V. Anybody has any idea for the code number for Rotel RX 5200 Stereo Receiver to control it through Sony remote control? It was not listed on Sony manual.

    Also, what is the best audio cable to be used with the above components for the best audio (especially SACD) quality?

    Any information would be greately appreciated,

      I had auditioned (on a limited basis) the Sony 777 SACD player at my dealers, and was not overwhelmed (maybe not "burned in" completely?). I just placed my new Sony DVP-9000ES in the system, and with the SACD sampler disc included, I am very pleased. Great air and resolution, yet very musical....

      The new Sony SACD player (SCD-XA5400ES) outputs multi-channel sound via the HDMI connection as either DSD or PCM depending on the handshake it makes with the processor. I know the 1069 won't accept the DSD, but will it accept the multi-channel PCM signal?...
