    Intro DVD for Home Theater

I think someone on this site asked about something like this a while back. An intro DVD that can be customized with your Home Theater name.

Discover the ultimate Custom Home Theatre Solutions online, available Australia wide. Enhance your entertainment experience with our top-quality AV Receivers, Speakers, Subwoofers and much more. Shop now for the perfect audio-visual setup tailored to your needs at CHT Solutions.

It is kind of expensive, depending upon your point of view.

    Anyway, have a look!

If I had a lot of different guests, I'd probably go for something like this. But to have one done up and then end up being the only one who mostly watches the intro would be a waste of money.

89.00 bucks isn't that bad really. Of course, it would be nice to see a finished product first. not sure it would see much use at my house though.

I just received the E-mail on this too.

I wonder about the sign though. The photo on the webpage looks more light a drawing. Does it plug in? Does it hang on a wall.

$89 does seem a little much..But it could be cool to have.

I don't think you get a sign. I think it's a graphic that they produce onto the DVD. Then you pop it in and it does some kind of fanfare and it just pops up on screen.

I can't really see much use for this, and I'm one of their target markets. I mean, I pop it in, then I have to change discs to my movie? And then I still have to wait for the FBI warning to play through. Just a bit too much. I'd rather run some trailers off my Total Movie DVD's instead.

            Your right Paul.
            I took another look.
Not sure why I thought a sign came in the deal.
Anyways $140CDN for a 10 minute DVD seems pretty steep.
Still I would not mind having an intro DVD.
This is where those Dual tray Toshiba's would have come in handy.

One other thing to be aware of. They are undoubtably using a DVD-R disc to store the custom content. DVD-R discs do not work on all DVD-Video players, so there is a chance that the custom disc wont play on your HT system.

If you are considering this product tell them what type of DVD-Video player you have before you place the order, and ask them if their disc will work on your player.

                Trevor Is exactly right,
The Tosh 6200 and 9200s work great with this type of thing.

Theres a much nicer one/two /or three over at AVS but I cant seem to find it, but at $200 it should be much nicer
