          If this is the ELP Laser turntable, The Absolute Sound gave it a less than glowing review a while back.

              Is it a cleaner too? Zap that dust away.

              Neat thing I read about this a few years back, was that when they used it to read old mono 78's and the like for archiving really old recordings, because it could read either side of the groove, and because the outermost wall of the groove was much more heavily worn to to it applying force to the stylus to move it inwards along the spiral track, they were getting much cleaner recordings off these old platters than they expected fom the way they sounded with a normal stylus by reading only the inner wall.
