Good choice stoop! I've had that for a couple of months now, playing tons of disks on it... amazing picture! I never liked the extremes of the sony's and toshibas and found that this is an excellent choice!

I LIKE the remote... that's all ya need.. and most will have a pronto or something.

          Plays CDR&RW without a hiccup.

Much improved over the 525 with very little tray/disk spin noise, and very quick loading.

          Enjoy!

              Stoop,

Good choice on your new player. Congratulations!

Recently, I had a chance to use the 333 as a "loaner" for a couple of week while my Pioneer DV 414 was being modified.
I really enjoyed the new remote features which Pioneer was kind enough to add since their two earlier DV versions (414 and 525). The resume feature (once the disc is stopped) jumps you right back to where you left off. You hit play ... and you are back. Excellent feature, unlike their "Last Memo" button on my 414 which is supposed to do the same thing but it never works. I suspect the new discs don't support this "Last Memo" feature.
Anyway, the 333 was flawless when I had it and the tray/transport noise was very slight.
              Enjoy it.

Don't you hate it when you go into your local shop to purchase that one piece. Usually a major upgrade or add on component and walk out with 2 or 3 or 4 more items?

                  Happy New Year 2008, all!

So 2007 brought us HDMI 1.3, with a new capability to stream the new high bitrate audio formats of Dolby TrueHD, DTS Master Audio, etc, completely digital and uncompressed to a decoding processor.

We saw a big explosion of Blu-Ray and HD-DVD,...

                  by Rock Dog
Okay, I've read, and researched and probed until I'm blue in the knuckles. And I have yet to find an answer to this question.

Is there any indication (display or OSD wise) That my RSP-1066 is running in rotel XS mode?

                  I recently added a 1080 to my 1095 for 7.1. And it...

Well, lookie here: I think we just found the first "official" information on Parasound DVD players. It looks like the rumors were true after all!
