    New Family Room System

    Hi all,

    Its been a while since I have been by. The basement theater project has been put on hold so I decided to tackle the family room first. I will post some pics as soon as everything is in and installed but here's the basics:

    New Purchases:
    TV--LG 50PX5D (friend in the business got me a good deal)
    TV mount-Chief Reaction Swing Arm Wall Mount
    Remote--Marantz RC5400

    Existing equipment:
    Denon AVR2805
    Marantz DV6400
    B&W 602 fronts
    B&W CC6 center
    (still need to find some used surrounds and a sub)

    Pics to come. Please feel free to post opinions of my choices.

      Stick with B&W for the surrounds to keep everything the same.

      Lots of people here like SVS subs. They are something to take a look at.

      Other than that nice stuff.
      The Bitterness of poor quality last longer than the joy of low prices.

              Thanks for the sub advice. I will definitely check it out. The TV should be in either today or tomorrow. Hopefully will be spending the weekend installing it all. The equipment is all being placed into a rack in the laundry room which sites right behind what will be the TV wall. Should be a nice clean finish. Nothing will remain on the floor in the family room.

                  B&W CC6 Center Speaker?

                  I'm new to the forum and i just bought a B&W CC6 and i turned it on and does anyone else think it sounds very muffled. I have heard other brand new B&W center speakers and they sound amazing..but my new to me CC6 voices sound very muffled. I have sony's SSF7000's and a basic SONY...

                  CC6 center speaker tweeter?

                  Hi,
                  I have a series one cc6 center speaker, and the tweeter does not sound as good as it should. I have a pair of 684's and i want them to match. Is there any way that i can put a new tweeter from a new series b&w speaker into my cc6?
                  Since they are both 1 in tweeters, could it work?...

                  Well, I just ordered a pair of 804S's and the matching HTM3S. Since my dealer only had black in stock and I wanted Rosenut, they had to special order them. I should take delivery within 3 weeks.
