    CC6 center speaker tweeter?

    Hi,
I have a series one cc6 center speaker, and the tweeter does not sound as good as it should. I have a pair of 684's and i want them to match. Is there any way that i can put a new tweeter from a new series b&w speaker into my cc6?
Since they are both 1 in tweeters, could it work?
    Thanks for any help,
    Mike

I believe that would take some work to accomplish as they aren't mounted the same. I'm not saying it couldn't be done... more that to do it would take some creative effort.

Along with that too, the crossover wouldn't be exactly right to support the different tweeter either...

How about a series 2 cc6 tweeter? Would that work in a series 1 easily? I think the series 2 tweeter(the aluminum tweeter) sounds a lot closer to the 684's.

Yes, a series 2 would probably match up a lot easier and should (for the most part) be almost plug and play.

Any modifications to older N800 series? (Nautilus 804)
          by rodH
I am currently using the original N804 speakers. I know the easy answer to this question for many on these boards it to always just buy new ones. But sometimes there is a faction of DIYers and tweakers on forums that know how to make a good thing even better.

          Anyway, since I can't justify...

Older 800 Series - Where are they thread
          by stuofsci02
Now that the 800 series has moved to the Di series, it is becoming much harder to find the older models. I am sure, like me, many people are still needing certain speakers to complete their setup and aren't interested in the Di series. I have found it difficult to find an HTM3S in rosenut, but someone...

Does anyone know of an available design that mimics a B+W 700 series
          by Stymingersfink
Hi all, I am a new member here and new to speaker building in general. I have been a furniture maker for a long time, but am just now getting into speaker building and design. I am getting ready to build a pair of Statement II's as my first project and I am really excited about it.

          B&W 700 series owners....
          by wb2fcr
I have a couple of extra sets of B&W posters for the current 700 series. I would be happy to send them to the first two 700 series owners in the United States.

I'll send them free of charge provided two conditions:

          1. You own a B&W 700 series speaker

          600 series speaker terminal connector.
          by Lectoid
I bought a used LCR600 S3 (sorrento, yay!) and had it shipped to me. I didn't know it before shipping, but it's missing the two metal pieces that connect the speaker terminals. Is there a better name for these? I called my only local B&W store and left a VM. They haven't been too helpful in the...
