Help New Player in the Game

    Hello All!

I am a new guy. Just bought a infocus LP70. Any suggestions? I have the capability to take it back with no fee. Can someone suggest to me which is the best projector under $2000 and what type of screen. The PJ will be used for 90% movies and 10% work-related presentations--size is not important.

    Thanks,

    BigDad

        Hello, welcome to the Guide.

First. the Sanyo Z2 and the Studio Experience 2HD are the very same projector. In reality, they are both Sanyos. The 2HD came with a 1 year better warranty, but also has proven difficult to obtain. First it's in production, there's 50 units, then it's out of production. Go figure.

I would just go to google.com and type in Sanyo Z2 and see who pops up. If any doubts about the legitimacy of a vendor, let us take a look at him. I am not familiar with that Infocus. That doesn't mean it's a bad projector. But I am betting on the Z2 still. I own a 2HD, and love it.

I suggest taking your post to the front projection area as well, might get more response.

        regards,
        Lex

Sanyo Z2 is amazing. I have it and dvds look great. no dissapointments what so ever. Unfortunately I've only seen the superbowl in HDTV, but that was even better. I had 25 friends over to watch it, against my wall of all things, with a diagonal at least 17 feet. It was great. Sure if you were close enough you might complain about detail. but I loved it.
