I've got a set of nice (Sound Organisation) speaker stands, which have the small upward-point spikes for securing/isolating the speaker. However, these spikes can potentially cause damage to the bottom of the speaker. Are these really worth the potential for damage, or is there a better way to achieve the same result? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Hi Blind -
Are there spikes on the bottom of the stand too? If not you may have the stand upside down. My stands have spikes on the bottom to
But to answer your question, you can get plastic pads, clear or colored and line them up with the spikes.
Hope that helps.

by GoodOmensAnyone know if the STAV24 will work with the CM1 speaker?
I know the FS CM/700 stands are designed for them - but at $400 kinda pricey.
The only thing I'm worried about with the STAV24's is the speaker falling off and /or the the "spikes" hurting the bottom of...-

by DanRAnyone who has read my thread from a few weeks ago will remember me asking if anyone had Sound Anchor stands for the N802's and what their impressions were. Unfortunately, no one who read my thread had this set up as no one responded. So I went a head and purchased them blindly. Not my usual style as...-
