    STAV24 Stands with CM1?

Anyone know if the STAV24 will work with the CM1 speaker?

I know the FS CM/700 stands are designed for them - but at $400 kinda pricey.

The only thing I'm worried about with the STAV24's is the speaker falling off and /or the the "spikes" hurting the bottom of the speaker. Anyone have any experience with this combo?

    noooo!!!!!!!!!
the cm1 wont cover the all top stand and it will look bad.
the holes in the stands wont match the holes in the speakers!!!

but stav 24 does match to CM5!
i switch the speakers to cm5 and now it cover the stand and the holes of the stand does fit to the speaker hole

    good luck!
add me to skype i will tell you everything i had the same issue!

Interesting - I'm not too worried about the stand showing as they will be mainly hidden behind the couch.

      You have any photos?

i have only photo of cm5
but the cm1 doesnt fit the stands' holes of stav 24 so you cant mount it with screws!
and with cm5 it does fit and you can mount it.
i have photos of the cm5 with stav24 if you want.

Hi there, just restarting my hifi adventures after a few years out due to carpet crawlers! I have always wanted a pair of CM1's due to their gorgeous looks (the only speaker the wife would have) so ordered a pair and they arrived this Thursday (my first ever B&W). I am starting out by pairing them...

Hello, I just purchased a Rotel 1520 integrated amp, I am setting it up to my iMac and have ALAC files for music (still searching for a DAC under $500). My system will be in the living room of an apartment (about 12x13). Which speakers do you recommend, B&W CM1 vs CM5, I have listened to both at...

          705 vs cm1

Some years ago I chose the B&W703 over the 704, leaving no budget for the rears. For the time being I have used my old Jamo sw300. In my new house I can’t put speakers on the wall, so the time has come for bookshelf speakers on a stand.

          I’ve got a budget of aprox 800 - 1000 euros...
