    How much should I ask?

    I am putting my Yamaha RX-V2095 up for sale. Anyone (especially previous 2095 owners) have any idea what I should ask for it? I've done some pre-sale research, and seem to find pricing all over the map. Anyone sell one recently, and what did you get for it?

    Thanks!

    The easiest way to find something lost around the house, is to buy a replacement.

    As long as people will accept crap, it will be financially profitable to dispense it.

    Rock- Being a 2095 owner myself, I've also watched a few sales over time, and you're right--sales really do vary depending on the buyer. Perhaps the best way is the old eBay way, so that you hit both the low interest and the high interest buyer, hopefully maximizing your return.

    Well, we're safe for now. Thank goodness we're in a bowling alley.

      Rock, there is one for sale at audiogon.com for $480, if that helps.

        RD,

        $500-600 for a unit in pristine condition wouldn't be un-reasonable. Unfortunately, you can still get BNIB RX-V1s for about $1,200 so I wouldn't hope for much more. But, who knows? You might get lucky. . . .

          The following items affect what you can get for your receiver:

          * Original box and packing materials
          * Original remote
          * Original owner's manual
          * Physical condition of unit (pristine or a few scratches here and there)
