Ugly as sin though. I'm not at all a fan of this built-in LCD trend. If the component is hidden in a cabinet, fine...otherwise I don't want a gaudy screen on my several-thousand-dollar piece of gear.

I like the idea of having it (the screen). However, I agree that an off/on mode would be nice for serious viewing. The jury is still out on the looks.

Actually, I kind of like the looks. Agreed that an on/off toggle for the screen is a good idea. The screen IS helpful if you are adjusting the equipment and can't see your main display.
