any info on new marantz line?

i keep asking the local shops to see if anyone has any info on this years replacements but all i can ever find out is that they were supposed to come out in may, then by the end of june, now i'm told end of july/beginning of august. all i really wanna know is what the model number is (i read somwhere the sr7000 is being replaced by the sr7200) and whether or not it has dpl2. anyone know anything?
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.

      Came across this info

      1°) SR-7200
      - 6 x 105W
      - DD "circle surround" (they cannot call it EX, as it is not THX)
      - DTS ES matrix
      - DPL II
      - YUV input/output
      - 24 bits/192 kHz converters

      2°)SR-6200
same as 7200, without YUV i/o and 24/192 converters (24/96 instead)

      3°) SR-5200
      same as 6200, but 6 x 85W

      4°) SR-4200
      - 5 x 70W
      - DD
      - DTS
      - DPL II
      - 24/96 converters

I have the prices as well, but for France. Therefore, they are to be taken with extreme care :

      SR-7200 ± 973USD
      SR-6200 ± 778USD
      SR-5200 ± 648USD
      SR-4200 ± 518USD

            thanks andrew.

actually, for any winnipegers interested, i talked to creative audio today and they said that models sr 3200 through 5200 should be in in a few weeks. models like the 7200 will be in in a few months.

              Marantz SR7200 Auto Shut Down
              by rumjungle
My Marantz SR7200 (Recent purchase - second hand) is performing superbly - (replaced an SR96) apart from an annoying habit of switching off while watching TV - ie when TV is providing audio input. I am at a loss as to where to turn for a solution. Can anyone help please?

D/A converters in the RCD-1072 vs D/A converters in receivers or Pre/pros
              by Jeff
I have a love for 2 channel music. However, I also enjoy listening to dvd concerts with my Sony STA-DA777ES receiver. When listening to a concert or a music vidio (which may be included on that dvd) in two channel mode, there is a distinctive superiority of the d/a converters in my rcd-1072. My...

1098 Wish List and Need for a 1099!!!
              by Aussie Geoff
              Hi,

In researching “wish list” requests for the 1098 I’ve started to develop a sense of what can be realistically added to the 1098 as is and what would require a major hardware upgrade. I thought this worth sharing, since it will provide a context for the next version of the 1098
