A guy in my neighborhood is selling a Denon PM 520 and Nikko analog tuner for $100 (total). Are these decent components? He says they're 35 years old but when I search on the Denon it seems newer. Thoughts?

can you audition for a few a few days?
it will not have much power, so expect distortion at higher volumes.
let your ears be the judge.
but for $100, if it meets your needs....why not?- Bottom

I don't necessarily have a "need" just was curious if it was that old if it was worth something. No biggie. I know some folks here like to restore old equipment. The guy actually ended up giving them away for free and someone else nabbed em.-Chuck- Bottom

Details:
150 watts x 7 into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.05% THD

by RickyOnce upon a time in America.....oopps, that was a James Woods movie....the big companies all had a nice performing AC3 decoder. What if HK made a 7.1 dd/dts decoder with the following features and listed it at $700 retail (ie, $500 street NIB):
- 6.1 DTS-ES
- DD-EX
- DPL2 (5/6/7...-
