Definitive Technology bp8080 VS GoldenEye Triton Two

    Hi folks,

Please help me decide between the two below. I am not a audiophile and I could not make much difference between listening them in a demo in two different stores.

    BP8080 (Front Towers), BP8080 (Center), BP8080 (Surround)

    VS

Triton Two (Front Towers), SuperSat 50C (Center), SuperSat3 (Surround).

    Please excuse my ignorance.

    Thanks!

The 8080's are fantastic and have an incredible matching powered center channel. The surrounds are also top notch. I'd say go with the Def Tech's.

I came across this company while perusing Home Theater Mag's reviews of their products. I think I might have to head down to the local dealer one of these days to give them a listen as they seem to be quite the bargain and exceptional sounding speakers! :T

      They have powered subs (with...

The first SSP-800 review - Definitive Audio '08

The purpose of this review is to give my opinion of what I witnessed and observed based on 3 different days of listening to the SSP-800. Please keep in mind that I have never heard this room before, so I can not say how it would sound under any other variable.

      The room:

Anyone using Definitive Tech surrounds with the B7W mains?s
      by Steve Ruddy
I want to up grade my 5.1 system to a 7.1 and am having a hard time with the cost of B&W DS8S. My past auditioning has led me away from B&W for my center channel speaker and I went with a Definitive Tech because of the much fuller sound. I'm thinking on the same lines for the dipole or bipolar...

What's your opinion on these two ?'s

I was able to sell my old Yamaha Receiver on another forum for $400.

1.) I now need to purchase a Rotel 2 Channel amp to drive the two rear centers in a 7.1 configuration. I have the RSP-1066 w/ the RMB-1075. I am thinking of getting the RB-1050 70w/ch amp (retail $399). I would rather...

Thanks in advance for any reply.
I am building a didicated home theatre room. Dimensions are 18x23. I want to get some clean, deep sound coming from my sub, or subs, and I know after reading all the forums there is a lot to say, especially about SVS and HSU. Ultimate Electronics has a Definitive...
