Speakers are all about personal preference...play around with different settings and see what sounds best to you.

According to the Klipsch website, the frequency response of your RB15 speakers is 70 - 20kHZ. So I would set your speakers to "small" in your receiver's setup menu, and set the crossover to your sub at 80Hz. Also it is best to use a sound pressure level meter to balance the level of all your speakers including your sub. Radio Shack has a good analog one that I use. :T

        Which of your speakers?
        by gimpy
Jon, which of your speakers that you have designed or are discussed in this forum, "in your opinion" are the "best/best sounding" (take that to mean anyway you want to) up to about the $400 range in cost? I had planned on building either the Nat P's or the Modula MTM's. But then...

Hey, I'll admit it, I'm a planar kinda guy. Don't really think I'll ever go back to cones. And here's some adjectives why:

        3. Accuracy
        4. Holographic
        5. Natural
        6. Soundstage width and depth
        7. Imaging
        Does this mean...

First off, I have a set of KLH 9912 speakers. Link
I have always loved the sound of them, I know they aren't super high quality but it was always nice to me. Well a while back while...
