    Hi People!,

I have just updated my PS3 and I would like to know what Blu-Ray's support the standard so I can test!

Yes, this would be interesting to learn. Out of my 30 current BD's, only one (Ice Age 2) is DTS-MA.

Over at Blu-Ray.com they are saying:

Fox and New Line exclusively use the DTS-HD MA format on their Blu-ray releases to ensure a "master quality" reproduction of the sound.
So, that should be a good starting point.

Great, would like to know too.

What is the receiver/processor and setup your are using to take advantage of the HD master audio? What audio outputs are on the PS3?

HDMI straight out of the PS3 into a Denon AVR-2808. The PS3 does all the decoding and sends out multi-channel PCM to the amp. I would love for the PS3 to be able to send it out as bitstream and let the amp do the decoding but oh well.

Sounds very nice, I have tried Simpsons and Die Hard With a Vengance.

                  Criterion DVDs/Blurays
                  by impala454
So I was at Fry's the other day looking for some old movies. I found this great list of (mostly) older movies and was looking for a few at Fry's when I saw a whole section labeled "Criterion". They appear to be high quality versions of older movies. Does anyone have experience with them?...

I just wanted to throw this question out there:

What is the likelyhood that the C1 or C2 will be upgraded to support DTS-HD and Dolby Digital Plus? Blu-Ray & HD-DVD have announced (months ago) that these format will be supported.

                  Here's information on DTS-HD with a...

So I'm one that likes to run marathons (no not on foot :P). I thought it'd be cool to have a ready made list of various good ideas for movie marathons and have the time required to watch one listed all in one place. I figured I'd share a few of the ones I've come up with and see if anyone cares to...

This article will describe the fruits of my efforts to build a moderate sized speaker which might be moderately above average in performance for a basic two-way system. I desired a speaker like this both for my own use in secondary systems, and to fill a need for some friends, who desired fairly full range response (i.e., “it’s gotta have good bass”). Also, though I have access to a good wood shop, many potential DIY enthusiasts may not, so I hoped to use a modified...

Some things I learned from baffle diffraction simulations

I'm designing my first speaker, a simple 2 way MT, and I’m currently looking into various cabinet styles. How might one best control baffle diffraction effects? There are two good free programs out there: Edge and Baffle Diffraction Simulator (BDS). I’ve been trying out various baffle designs to...
