    Samsung BD-P1400 . . .

    Does anyone have this player? Is it a reasonable piece of equipment? They are on sale at Future Shop right now for $399 (includes 2 movies) and I'm just wondering if it is worth picking up or if I should wait for prices to drop further.

      There's a class action lawsuit against Samsung in relation to a certian BD player. I don't remember if that was the model involved. If it is, then I would stay away from it as it is plagued with tons of playback issues.

      I own the Panasonic BD30 and it is said to be one of the more reliable players out there ( Playstation 3 being the other ) in regard to playback. I got it for just under $588 and have never had a serious playback issue to date.
