I noticed this morning (in a very very quiet room) that there is some fan noise coming from my monster HTS2600 power center. Is this normal ? It is faint and does not come out from the speakers, but from the unit itself.

I've actually seen a lot of customer reviews that give them high marks-a little fan noise probably isn't much of an issue , though.Lee

I prefer a glorified power strip/surge protector that has circuitry to clean up noisy power. A whole device that does that gets to the point of diminishing returns too quickly for the price (I read reviews all the time where people notice no difference at all - even with higher end protectors).
The M* Powercenter HTS 2000 MKII is only about $130 on Amazon. As long as you have room to hide it behind your equpiment - it's kind of ugly.

Just took ownership of a new Rotel RMB-1585 200wpc. I’ve noticed it has a sight noise to it when it’s on, seems like electrical noise but not sure if it’s something more serious. I also can hear when starting up a sort of light rapid clicking sound,

I've recently upgraded everything I got to Rotel equipment and am loving every bit of it but I seem to be having a bit of a problem with the RCD-1072.
With some CDs it seems to be making a kind of clicking or loud spinning... -
Have several Rotel components plugged into the Monster HTS 5100 MKii.
This morning when I woke up, everything had lost power. I checked all of the compoonents, they will all power up if I go to the wall, but the power conditioner will not power up. It was not emitting a buzzing alarm as the manual... -
So I finally called comcast and got the HDcable package.
With the new "cable box" connected im getting a quite loud hiss through my amps. I will try and be as brief to the point as I can.
