I have a small room 12 X 12, and want to add a subwoofer to my 2 channel setup. The choice is between Velodyne dd-12, Sunfire True Subwoofer EQ, and the B & W asw 825. Please comment. My listening is 75% HT

My resonining is as follows: Small room, small sub with lots of go. And let me re-phrase to say tha that I have had good like with the same Sunfire sub. Considering the room size it does seem like a good choice althought you might want to strack a few cinder blocks on it :-).Comment

I really like my DD-12, but my room is 24x14. I don't know how much of a difference that make with the auto eq function on the Velodyne, but it out performed the ML Depth in my room. I think part of the performance gain is from proper set up. The auto function is much better than my skills.Comment

Velodyne all the way. I have the 804s and have listened to the Sunfire, Velodyne and B & W. Bought the DD12. It mates perfectly.Comment

It appears that my ears prefer the wavelength of a smaller driver. After trying dual then one Velodyne DD18 in my room, I found that they were not able to produce the musical bass I like. I am in the planning stages of converting one of my garage bays into a dedicated listening room. The room is not very wide only 10' max. I have considered adding another ASW-825 to the mix but doing so wipes out any room or movement between the remaining speakers (LRC) across the horizontal plane...
