Some reviewers have reported earlier models, the RSX 1056 suffered from HISS and BUZZ problems , have these issues been eliminated in the 1057. Early reply appreciated. Thanks

My 1057 works to my knowledge bugfree the buzz or hiss in speakers is there but its suppose to be there because Rotel doesnt use muting circuits on the amps which on many other recievers will make a filter that takes away the buzz but also a great deal of the sound that should be reproduced.
But for me the buzz isnt even hearable and the sound off the reciever is hard to beat its probably the best reciever ive ever heard and to match it you will have to pay alot more than 2000$.- Bottom

The buzz and hiss reported in early 1056's was due to bad digital boards and was definitely present and distracting. It hasn't been an issue on the 1057.
Of course with Rotel's new policy of replacing any problem equipment during the first year of it's 5 year warranty (instead of repairing it), you can't go wrong.

I will be running these 2 speakers only for Ht. Maybe a sub and center channel...-

My question is quality of sound between the 1057 and the newer 15 series.
I will not be listening at extreme loud levels, and I will be purchasing a 3...-

Just got the RSX 1057 on Saturday. Had a chance to play around with it all day today. Well first off, the 1057 replaced my 3 year old RSP 1066 as a Pre/pro. I have the RSX 1057 hooked up to my RMB 1075. I just have the front 2 channels running out of the 1075 and have the center...-
