    Denon AVR-3805, Mixing Input Sources...

    Hiya,

Atm I got my 360 connected to VDP and have set the video to Composite source 1, and audio to one of the opt interfaces. I have my computer connected to COAX1.

How can I listen to the 360 and the computer at the same time? (mix both inputs?). That said, it doesn't allow assigning the same video input (port) to multiple interfaces such as VDP/V.Aux...

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!
    Mike

You could run the 360 into your computer's line in jack. Go to the mixer and bump up the volume on the line in on the playback side to whatever level you want. You'd then select your computer as the audio source on the receiver.

Heh, I've thought of that but I was hoping for this to be some feature I missed on my receiver...

Just out of curiosity, are you trying to listen to music on your computer while you play the 360? If so theres another way around it. Im sure you know that if your running the Media Center Edition of XP you can link the PC and the 360 together. But if you running regular Xp you still can link the 2 up. All you have to do is have Service Pack 2 installed, and another program called Windows Media Connect. It will allow you to play music from your PC through your 360. I went this route instead of having and external harddrive. Just a thought, and sorry if you arleady new about it.
