    Not enough component outputs!

I have a front projector and also a HDTV both of which are capable of handling HD input signals. Unfortunately, many of my source devices such as DVD player and Digital TV Set Top Box only have one set of component outputs. I would love to send a HD signal to both the projector and HDTV. Does anyone know of a product that can help me? I have thought about building a switching box myself but would rather not if there is something out there that would probably do a better job of preserving the signal.

    Many Thanks

You could look at a scaler with both component and HDMI output. If the manufacturer allows both to be simultaneously active you could have HDMI going to your projector, component to your TV and have high quality resampling on all sources

Here is a less expensive solution.

      Component Switch Distribution Amplifier

There are many other options available, depending on your needs.

Do you have a specific price range?

      Peace and blessings,

Thanks guys. I think the switch distribution amplifier is what I need. I will have to try and source one in Australia.

            1068 component video switching question?
            by malcky
Hi folks, looking to get sky HD very soon and will be using the component outputs from the sky box & the component outputs from dvd player to send to a sanyo z2 projector, so just wanted to know if the video switching within the 1068 is capable of handling a 720p signal from sky HD?

            Sony vph D50Q projector

I have a Sony VPH-D50Q (with EXB-DS10 Extender) and am feeding it using the RGB inputs via BNC Cables (InputA??). It receives std. video (480i) just fine but when I send it 480p, 720i or 1080, it says "Input A - No Signal. Also, when I go to the Set Settings menu in Service Setting mode, it indicates...

            Blu-ray and component video . . .
            by NMG
            Hey everyone,

I'm considering picking up a Blu-ray player, but I'm a little confused about the video outputs. I read online that on some discs, you are required to use HDMI outputs to view HD material.

Unfortunately, my TV is an older model and it only has component inputs...

Does the Infocus LP530 support HDTV?
            by zigurat
I was just given a LP530, and when I connect it to my comcast HDTV cable box, I can get it to display non HD channels fine, but am unable to get it to work with an HD channel. All I get is snow. Is this projector HDTV compatible? Any help is appreciated.

2 Component outputs from 1068? And Zone 2 help!!!
            by Stevebez
A few questions about adding a second display in the bedroom.

1 How long can I run component cables from the RSP-1068 output? (around 15metres is the max length I would need.)

2 Is it feasible to spit this component output somehow to get prog scan to this second display?...
