I was just given a LP530, and when I connect it to my comcast HDTV cable box, I can get it to display non HD channels fine, but am unable to get it to work with an HD channel. All I get is snow. Is this projector HDTV compatible? Any help is appreciated.

I've been with Comcast a very long time because of HDTV & Comcast sports (76ers!). But THE DISH price is $30 less a month. Also they now have COMCAST SPORTS & HDTV! Who is better COMCAST or THE DISH?????

Comcast has a new HDTV cable box verson 3 with a HDMI output. My sony HDTV only has a DVI input. The cable installer brought this new box with a HDMI to DVI cable. This didn't work properly. No picture after a hour or so of viewing. We had to switch back to component output...
