    B&W speaker matching

I recently purchased a set of used DM602 S3's. These will be the fronts for my home theatre system. I have a chance to purchase a LCR 6 S2. I would use this for the center channel. From reviewing the specs. I see very little difference between this speaker and the LCR600 S3. Does anyone have any comments on using the S2 with my fronts?
    Thank You

The S2 has a different sound to it than the S3 does. In my opion, since the Center channel is one of the most important speakers in your home theater, it's better to take the matching LCR600 S3 as it will more closely timbre match with the DM602 S3s.

I have the 602s S3s and 604s S3s with my LCR600 S3 and while you can hear it's slight weakness compared to the 602s or 604s, it really does a pretty darn good job making one seemless front sound stage.

Can you possibly grab another 602? That would be the best if you would have the room for it.

        Another option

One other thing to look at, depending on your rooms size; try the LCR 60 S3. It works seemlessly with my 602 S3s. My room is 13x17, but I'm only 7 feet away. (and has uncovered plaster walls, hard wood floor)

If you have a larger room, it might not work quite so well...

          *My new DM602 S3s*
          by P1et
          Fellow B&W Fans,

I picked up my new B&W DM602 S3s today. It was a gift from my wife for my birthday! Since I don't think we have enough pictures in this forum, I decided to take quite a few!

The stands are B&W STAV20s. Fit perfectly!

          Enjoy!...

          LCR600 vs. HTM7?
          by BlazeMaster
Hi, I currently have a 600s 5.1 setup right now and been pretty happy with it so far. But I've noticed one thing about the setup when I watch movies, there seems to be alot of cabinet resonace coming from the speakers, especially the LCR600. Is there anything I can do to reduce it? I currently have...

          Matching center to 602 S3s
          by Jon S
This is my first time posting here, but after reading so many of threads I'm more comfortable with my choice of 602 S3s to replace a set of Infinity RS9Bs that were 20 years old. After about 20-25 hours these B&Ws are really starting to open up.

Now I need a center to go with the...

          Advice on center/side/rear speakers with D603 S3s
          by Intense
          Hey all,
I'm looking for some advice for my 7.1 HT set-up. I've just gotten my my D603 S3 (used) for my main channels. Given that these are older models, are there any more recent B&W models that would be compatible with my mains?

I know the LCR600 S3 center is normally used...
