Can you bi-amp with one bi-wire cable?

I have my centre channel bi-amped with a 2 channel power amp. I was hoping to use one length of bi-wire cable that I already have, however the positive wires are color coded white and grey there is nothing to distinguish a seperate signal path for the negative. Can I use this cable or am I best to use two seperate cables?

You would not be able to bi-amp with a "2x4" or "single" bi-wire cable. There is only one connection on the amp side.

Color coding can be verified by the use of a multimeter.

It is currently bare wire I was hoping to terminate it myself, but if I split the negative cables in half for treble and bass there is no way to identifiy the wires at the other end

        Long speaker cable v's long RCA's ?
        by Stev
I am going to puchase a RB 1070 or 1080 to run the mains from my RSX 1056. I have the 1056 about 15 meters from the mains - so I can run 15 m of biwire speaker cable from the amp or put the amp close to the speakers - say 2-3m and run long rca's from the 1056 to the amp. Which would be the best option...
