I have a rotel 1057 receiver and a krell amp. Should I just biwire w/ the krell or should I bi amp with the receiver and the krell amp?

I tried bi-wiring but I did not notice any difference. I wouldn't waste a lot of money on bi-wire cables. I have not tried the bi-amp approach yet, but from everything I have read on this and other forums I should notice a difference. At least I hope I do. I would vote for bi-amping with the Krell & the receiver.- Bottom

I would vote against bi-amping with such different amps. Use the Krell monowired by itself unless it has inadequate power for the job.

by DrJRappTo some that may seem like a presumptious title, but after spending about an hour now with the 1077 running 2 channel, it may be closer to the truth than many can imagine. The 1077 has real b---s and one doesn't need a wheelbarrow to cart it around either! While real critical listening will have to...-

by SE-RaiderI have an Apple G5 Powermac with an optical digital output. I will be building a set of monitors, probably the Modula MT's and need and amplifier to drive them. Rather than use the sound card on the Mac, I prefer to use the digital out and plan to feed the digital input of an HT receiver. The HT receiver...-
