    Ceiling mounted surrounds

I have a pair of Def Tech BPX's that I am planning to mount with Omnimount brackets. Has anyone out there done this, and if so, did you use the supplied screws, or did you get smaller ones to screw into the speaker?

My wife and I put an offer on a house and we'll get the answer early this week. If we get the house, I won't be able to go with my previous plan for speakers (the full size Statement towers). Required speaker location makes sealed front speakers a must... and I really like the RS225 woofers.

There were two speakers in the dining room, kitchen and each of the three bedrooms (10 speakers in total). All of the speakers seem to be home-run...

    Rear Ceiling Mounted Speakers
    by kvardas
Hi, this is probably going to sound really stupid, but oh well.

I have a pair of custom Vifa 2-way speakers with P17 woofers and D27 tweeters. The Cabinets are approximately 7.5 inches wide by 13 inches tall, and have a rear port. I also have a pair of MTM Fronts and Center that use...

    In-Wall/Ceiling

What are some good in-wall speakers, they need to be ceiling mounted. Should they have their own enclosures? That would probably help with overall performance. I'm thinking of putting ceiling speakers in our bedroom, and want to start the long shopping process. I've started looking at paradigm reference...
