I am torn betweem two amps rotel 1095 or parasound 2205 has anybody compared the two I know what rotel sounds like I have a 1080 for my front speakers Retail price the Rotel is $500 less but in the used market the parasound is usually less $$ thanks Rich

I'm currently using a Marantz SR4200 receiver as a preamp (NAD C270 amp and Energy Veritas v2.1 speakers) for 2 channel music. I'd like to use the receiver in another room and replace it with either a Parasound P/HP 850 or Rotel RC 1070 preamp. I've read positive reviews on both and specs seems comparable.... -
I am considering adding a Parasound A23 Amp to my Rotel RSX 1057 Surround Receiver(using it as the pre for the front two channels). Would this combo sound good together? Does the A23 have a better ability to handle power demands at low speaker impedances than the Rotel RB-1070 or RB-1080 2ch power amps?... -
How do the two brands compare to each other? I'm looking at audiogon and ebay and the pricing appear to be fairly similiar. If we compare the Rotel RB-1080 to the Parasound 2250 or the Halo A51 how do each stack up against each other?
